Challenges with marketing to this population and recommendations for overcoming those challenges

Many individuals in African American, Hispanic, and older adult communities may face significant stigma surrounding mental health care.

In regards to financial barriers to access to care, it has been challenging due to Affordability and Lack of Insurance, especially in rural or marginalized communities.

My recommendation is to provide tele-health services for African Americans, Hispanics, and older adults dealing with financial issues in rural areas. Telehealth can reduce the economic and logistical barriers to care, especially in rural areas.

Another recommendation is to advocate for Coverage for programs such as Medicaid expansion in limited states and work with policymakers to ensure that mental health care is included in affordable healthcare plans.
